Q: Do you take field trips?
A: Yes. This year we visited Lawrence Farms for pumpkin picking and the Quassaic Firehouse. When we take field trips, we ask that parents bring their children unless arrangements are made ahead of time, because each child must ride in a car seat.
 
Q: Can my child go to the bathroom at any time?
A: Yes. We have a set bathroom time, but children can also go whenever they need to.
 
Q: What do you do when it snows a lot?
A: We follow the Newburgh schools delay and closings. If Newburgh has a two hour delay, we open at 10 and close at 12.
 
Q: Can we celebrate my child's birthday?
A: Yes. You can bring in special treats, but we have to keep in mind children's food allergies, so please arrange it beforehand with the teacher.
 
Q: Can parents help out?
A: Parents are welcome to come to parties and special events.
 
Q: Do I have to belong to St. Joseph Church? be a Catholic? be a Christian?
A: No, but be aware that we do read bible stories and talk about Jesus, Christmas, and Easter.
